Política de privacidad

Este documento se ofrece en inglés, que es la versión vinculante.
This Privacy Policy explains how VidCadence ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
- Account information — such as your name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up.
- Content you provide — topics, scripts, prompts, and other inputs you submit to generate videos.
- Billing information — processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data — device, browser, IP address, and interactions with the Service, collected to improve reliability and performance.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To generate videos, voiceovers, captions, and related content you request.
- To process payments and manage your subscription and credits.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third-party providers to deliver the Service, including cloud hosting and storage, AI model providers, and payment processing. These providers process data only as needed to perform their functions. If you connect social media accounts (e.g. TikTok, YouTube, Instagram), we access them only for the features you enable. What each platform gives us, and what we do with it, is set out below.
TikTok Data
Connecting a TikTok account is optional, and nothing in the Service requires it. If you do connect one, VidCadence uses the TikTok Login Kit and Content Posting API, with these permissions and no others:
- Basic profile (
user.info.basic) — your open id, display name and avatar, so you can confirm which account is connected before anything is posted to it. - Profile details (
user.info.profile) — your username, bio, profile link and verified status, shown on your VidCadence settings page. - Account statistics (
user.info.stats) — your follower, following, likes and video counts, shown on the same page. These are read from TikTok each time you open it and are not stored by us. - Posting (
video.publish) — publishes a video you created in VidCadence to your own account, on an explicit action or a schedule you configured. - Drafts (
video.upload) — sends a video you created to your TikTok drafts, for you to finish and post yourself in the TikTok app.
We store the OAuth tokens TikTok issues, plus your username and avatar. We do not read your videos, comments, messages or followers, we never use TikTok data for advertising or to train models, and we do not sell it or transfer it to third parties except where necessary to operate the Service or to comply with the law. Disconnect the account at any time from your VidCadence settings, which deletes the stored tokens and ends all access. Your use of TikTok itself remains governed by the TikTok Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Google User Data
Connecting a YouTube channel is optional, and nothing in the Service requires it. If you do connect one, VidCadence uses the YouTube API Services, and this section describes exactly what that involves.
- What we access — two permissions, and no others. The ability to upload videos to your channel, and read-only access to basic channel details (name and avatar) so you can confirm which channel you connected.
- How we use it — solely to publish videos you created in VidCadence, to the channel you chose, at the time you scheduled. We never use Google user data for advertising, and we never use it to train models.
- How we store it — we store the OAuth tokens Google issues, plus your channel name and avatar. We do not copy, index or retain any other content from your channel.
- How we share it — we do not sell Google user data or transfer it to third parties, except where necessary to operate the Service, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition. No human at VidCadence reads your Google user data unless you have given consent, it is necessary for security or legal reasons, or the data is aggregated and anonymised.
- How to remove it — disconnect the channel in your VidCadence settings, or revoke access from your Google Account permissions page. Disconnecting in VidCadence deletes the stored tokens outright; revoking at Google invalidates them immediately. Either way we lose all further access to your channel.
VidCadence's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our full Google API disclosure sets this out in detail. By connecting a YouTube channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's own handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Analytics and Session Recording
We count page views with Simple Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service. It sets no cookies, does not collect personal data or IP addresses, and does not track you across sites, so it runs without your consent choice. It tells us which pages are visited and where visitors come from. See the Simple Analytics data policy.
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the Service is used. Clarity records how visitors interact with our pages — clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and navigation — and reconstructs those interactions as aggregated heatmaps and session replays. This helps us find pages that confuse people or break.
Clarity runs only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner. If you reject them, or have not chosen yet, it is not loaded at all. Clarity masks the contents of form fields by default, so what you type is not captured. Microsoft's handling of this data is described in the Microsoft privacy statement. Nothing in the Service depends on it.
Cookies
You can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. We use:
- Strictly necessary (always on): the sign-in session cookie that keeps you logged in; cookies set by Stripe during checkout to prevent fraud; and Cloudflare (including Turnstile on sign-in forms), which may set cookies to tell people from bots. Your cookie choice itself is kept in your browser's local storage (“vc-consent”).
- Analytics (only if you accept): Microsoft Clarity's cookies (such as
_clckand_clsk), and our ownvc_srccookie, which remembers for up to 90 days which site or link first brought you here so we can tell which of our channels people sign up from. If you create an account while it is set, that source is saved with your account. Rejecting deletes it.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
