VidCadence's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
VidCadence uses the YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
What We Access
If you choose to connect a Google service (such as your YouTube account), we request only the permissions necessary to provide the features you enable. For YouTube that is exactly two: permission to upload videos to your channel, and read-only access to basic channel details so you can confirm which channel is connected. We request nothing else.
How We Use Google User Data
- To publish and manage content you explicitly choose to upload.
- To display your connected account details within the app.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising.
- We do not transfer or sell Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless we have your consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with the law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized.
What We Store
The OAuth tokens Google issues, along with your channel name and avatar. We do not copy, index or retain any other content from your channel. Disconnecting the channel deletes the stored tokens outright, and deleting your VidCadence account removes them along with the rest of your data.
Revoking Access
You can disconnect VidCadence from your Google account at any time within your VidCadence settings, or by visiting your Google Account permissions page.
